Hi, I’m Aaron Zhong — a high school senior from Maryland who’s passionate about exploring how computer science and environmental science can work together to solve real-world problems.
I’m currently a senior at River Hill High School and plan to study Earth, Environmental & Planetary Sciences and Computer Science in college. My interests lie at the intersection of AI, data science, and sustainability — using algorithms to understand weather, climate, and robotics systems that can make our world more resilient. Beyond research, I co-lead my school’s FTC Robotics Team, co-founded the Youth Garden environmental initiative, and love sharing STEM with others through tutoring and outreach. When I’m not coding or experimenting, you’ll probably find me playing drums, performing at senior centers, or coaching youth tennis — creativity keeps me balanced.
